This month’s meeting will be on Zoom again and we will have Michelle Croft, a License Clinical Social Worker as our guest speaker. She will be speaking about sheltering in place from Covid-19 and the loneliness that can affect a person.
Do you have any questions that you would like to ask, please forward them to me so I can submit them to her before the meeting. Please submit your questions to me before Friday.
We have been advised that some of our group may be concerned about using Zoom due to some of the media information that has been published. What we have seen in the news has happened because the added security tools were not being used. Also the Security has been increased on Zoom through a couple of upgrades in the program and a forced requirement to use a password to enter the meeting. That is why a password is required when entering by using your phone, whether you call in with a flip phone, or a landline. The password is coded into the hyperlink when entering with a smartphone, tablet, or a computer.
Anyone joining the meeting using the provided link, or even joins by phone, will be sent to the waiting room. Once there, Candy and I have control over who is admitted. Anyone we can’t identify, or who disrupts the meeting, can be removed.
